Urrrgh had a rubbish day at work today after my lovely long weekend. Hopefully tomorrow will be better, once I have settled in again. It was a pretty hectic day.
Had an amazing day yesterday. This might sound boring to some people but me & bf stayed in all day and ate and watched films. Well we almost stayed in all day. Bf had to make an emergency run to the shop in the morning for toilet roll! Ha ha! But while he was out he got us McDonald's breakfasts :) we watched about 6 films and had a great time, and he made a lovely dinner :) awwwwww he's so sweet! :-D
This is my last week on the pill! I'm a bit nervous coz my bf isn't great with condoms but we'll have to live with it until my body decides to sort itself out. I've got the hospital on Friday as well about my heart. I must say I'm kind of excited to go to the hospital and see what they've got to say about my heart. I'm 99.9% sure that it's not serious so I'm just interested to see what it is that's wrong. It says I'm going to see the medicine department this time so they must be wanting me to take something. I'm just finding it really interesting. I think if it was serious then they would of had me back sooner.
We had to go a wee walk to the supermarket and we passed lots of Christmas decorations so we decided to go and buy some at the weekend :) it's our first Christmas in our flat together and I'm so excited :) we won't be spending Christmas Day here together but I can't wait to get our decorations and make it look all Christmassy together :) xx
Sooooooooooooo, hi :)
I went to the doctors on Friday regarding my pill/headache issues. She was about to give me a different pill but before that she took my blood pressure. My blood pressure has always been fine. For some reason, on Friday it was too high :-/ she said it could be connected to my heart issues, maybe not but she wasn't comfortable giving me another pill while my blood pressure was up and so asked if I would come off it for 6/8 weeks and see how it goes with everything. Which means relying on condoms for a while, eeeeek. I'm back at the hospital on Friday for my heart so I'm just playing the waiting game just now to see what happens and see what all the doctors are going to say.
In other news, me & bf took Friday & Monday off work :) so on Friday after the doctor, we went for breakfast./ I had lovely pancakes & syrup, yummmmmmmmmmm. Then we went to have a little look round the shops, then to the cinema to see Despicable Me in 3D, which was so funny :) we then went for lunch and then back to the cinema to see Red, which was great too. Had a cosy night in after that :) On Monday we plan to stay in aaaaaaaaaaaaaall day and watch films in the flat with loads of sweets & chocolate. Might sounds sad to some people but I am looking forward to it :)
Yesterday I went shopping. I went to La Senza and got measured, then bought 2 bras in my new size. Well, it wasn't really a different size, the thing was that I don't really suit a plunge bra, I much more suit a balconette bra! It's true, my boobies look much bigger & better in a balconette bra! I then headed to the train station to make a trip to my nearest Primark, which is in Dunfermline. Normally I can get a train from Edinburgh Waverley to Dunfermline & back no problem, but I discovered yesterday that there are engineering works from now til December, which made my trip a million times more difficult. I had to get a train from Waverley to Haymarket. At Haymarket (which is still in Edinburgh), no one knew what was going on, not even the staff. They didn't know which train was leaving from which platform and when, so it was a little difficult! Finally managed to get to Dunfermline and got my shopping done. Getting back from Dunfermline was even more difficult than getting there! When I got to the station in Dunfermline there had just been a train to Haymarket cancelled, and there was no information about the next train. Eventually got one, then had to wait aaaaaaaaaaaaaaages for a train at Haymarket to Waverley. The platform was so busy and there was loads of screaming, crazy kids :( I hate kids at the best of times but when they're shout & screaming it is just my worst nightmare. Anyway! Made it home eventually!!! :)
Got home, put my shopping bags in then headed back out to the supermarket to get some vodka for a party I was going to last night. I bought Absolut pear vodka & lemonade. My friend brought over orange vodka & champagne! We had a drink in mine then headed to the party, which was a bit weird. The birthday girl had asked everyone to dress "formally". I enjoyed getting all dressed up but there was actually guys wearing tuxes & bow ties, and everything was a bit strange & subdued and we just got bored so we sneaked out! We walked about Edinburgh for ages before finding food then heading home. Had a bit of a headache this morning but fine apart from that :) xx
Heylo, wow it's so cold again! I guess I shouldn't be so surprised, it is kinda almost November!
I finished my training course at work yesterday. I acted in a video with my team, for the rest of the group to watch. I played a "difficult" employee and it was so embarrassing to act! Also I found it so hard to keep a smile off my face! Just about managed it though. Then it was sooooooooooo cringe-worthy sitting with the rest of the group watching it! I was so out of my comfort zone, but that's good. Got to get out there! I met some nice people on the course too, so it was all good :)
I had a splitting headache last night. It sort of came from nowhere. I had a slight headache during the day, took painkillers, which made no difference. Painkillers hardly ever help me with headaches. I think I just take them out of habit when I get a headache. The only ones that ever make any difference are soluble Solpadine but I don't want to take them too often. Anyway, the headache carried on after I got home, and then suddenly it got drastically worse. I had to switch the laptop off there and then and go straight to bed. When my boyfriend came in he got me Solpadine. I was just going to try and sleep it off but the last time I had a headache like that, I managed to get to sleep but it was still there when I woke up in the middle of the night. The Solpadine helped a lot. At first I thought it was because I'd worn my contact lenses all day, but I've now decided that it's my Pill.
When I first got the pill when I was 17, the doctor put me on Microgynon. I later came off that (can't remember when) and changed to Cileste. I was on that for a good few years before I stopped it. I only stopped it because I wasn't having sex at the time. I remember that for those years I was on Cileste I suffered from bad & constant headaches, but I never put it down to the pill. I was never out of the doctors about my headaches and they ended up sending me for an MRI scan, which came back clear, and they could never explain them. I got sick of going in the end and just put up with the headaches. It was terrible though, I could hardly do anything, it was hard to cope at work, I couldn't have a drink or do other "normal" things.
Eventually, thankfully, the headaches subsided. I now realise that they probably subsided, because I stopped taking Cileste, and when I went back on the pill, it was a different one, it was Ovranette. I've had a few pill-related issues recently and the doctor had suggested I change pill, and gave me Cileste. Surprise surprise, the headaches are back! I'm blaming Cileste! I've made an appointment to go back and to explain this and get a different pill, but it's not til next Friday. I don't want to stop taking the pill before then just in case so I'll just have to put up with it til then. I was in tears last night, mainly because I was so worried that things were going to go back to the way they used to be when I was plagued with headaches.
Health issues!!! Between this and going back to the hospital about my heart I am swamped with them! xoxo
